Thursday was a little bit of a roller coaster for State Wrestling. You could make the argument that the Hidlay’s and Tariq Wilson were some of the most dominate wrestlers of the day. Could also say Reenan’s loss, in an upset bid against Iowa’s Warner, was the most controversial.
The Pack went 8-1 in the early session, before going 5-3 in the later frame. Overall, they sit in the 4th spot, which if they can hold, will match their best finish ever. With five in the quarterfinals, there is a solid chance of them moving up (most likely not into National Champions level as Iowa’s squad has been running mats).
