Former Green Level Star Audrey Ericksen Transfers to NC State

NC State’s women’s basketball team added another experienced piece to its backcourt yesterday, landing a commitment from Boston guard Audrey Ericksen.

The 6-foot guard announced she will transfer to NC State after spending the past three seasons at Boston University.

Veteran Experience

Ericksen’s statistics may not immediately jump off the page, but experience is what makes this addition intriguing.

She has been a starter for the Terriers for three consecutive seasons, providing consistency and leadership throughout her career.

During the 2025-26 season, Ericksen averaged:

3.5 points per game
2.9 rebounds per game
1.3 assists per game

While those numbers don’t tell the entire story, NC State is adding a player who understands college basketball and has logged significant minutes throughout her career.

Returning Home

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this addition is that Ericksen is returning home.

Before heading to Boston University, she starred at Green Level High School in Cary.

Now she’ll have the opportunity to finish her collegiate career just a short drive from where she played her high school basketball.

For NC State fans, it’s always nice to see local talent return to the Triangle.
