According to Hitmen Hoops, NC State has reached out to 2026 center Kaleb Davis (6’11”, 190 pounds).

Interest in Davis appears to be rising quickly.

SportsNet LLC, Davis’ agency, also reports that Villanova, Seton Hall, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and others have recently contacted him.

Length That Pops

Davis immediately stands out physically.

At 6’11” with a reported 7’3” wingspan, he possesses elite length and projects as a major defensive presence around the rim.

While Davis is still considered raw offensively, his size, reach, and shot-blocking upside make him an intriguing developmental prospect.

Under-The-Radar Prospect

Despite growing interest from high-major programs, Davis has flown somewhat under the radar nationally.

Virginia Tech

The Hokies extended an offer just last week.

Background

Davis plays for Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee.

As teams continue to not find what they are looking for in the Transfer Portal, Davis will become more attractive for teams looking for frontcourt players.
