NC State Among Just 10 Schools to Reach Bowl Game, NCAA Basketball Tournament & Baseball Regional

NC State continues to prove it can compete across the entire athletic department.

With the Wolfpack now officially headed to the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament, NC State joins an extremely short list nationally.

Only 10 schools in the country accomplished all three of the following during the 2025-26 athletic year:

Made a bowl game
Made the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament
Advanced to an NCAA Baseball Regional

Nebraska
Virginia
Texas
Georgia
Tennessee
Miami
Texas A&M
Alabama

In baseball, NC State earned a spot as the #3 seed in the Auburn Regional (#4 overall). The Wolfpack will play #2 seed on Friday at 6pm.

In football, the Wolfpack defeated Memphis 31-7 in the Gasparilla Bowl.

In basketball, NC State lost to Texas in a First Four game in the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
