Simple as that, #LetStatePlay.

We’re playing in a Tournament that is into the Final Four. We are 18 months into a pandemic with ample amounts of vaccines. If you haven’t prepped yourself, for one reason or another, THAT’S ON YOU.

Sorry to JT Jarrett that this dream run could be ending, but let everyone with negative tests play!

No mask mandates in the stands, nor test of spectators coming through the gate. Omaha, as a city, has no restrictions. If your mind is blown by this whole thing, then you’re not alone.

If Vanderbilt was losing a couple players, I’d would be fine with playing. Completely unbiased, straight from the heart take. Some of you took that risk of playing unvaccinated, just like you take the risk of being hit by a line drive every time you take the field. The chances are slim that it could kill you, but you still played. Harsh as it sounds, it’s true.

So, what the HELL are we doing here holding these kids hostage? It’s an outdoor venue. It’s a game where social distancing is BUILT INTO THE GAME. Those vaccinated are safe. Those who aren’t…sign a freaking wavier and let’s get on with life.

This season WILL NOT end with the hottest team in the whole damn country heading home UNDEFEATED IN THE CWS. State fans will never, ever have an ounce of confidence for any future game, in any sport, from here on out if this goes down like it might.
