NC State Lands Commitment From Florida OL Colt Hauser

NC State picked up their second commitment for their 2027 football recruiting class in as many days. Yesterday, 3-star safety Alex Scott committed to run with the Wolfpack, and today, 3-star offensive lineman Colt Hauser (6’3″/285) announced his commitment.

Like Scott, Hauser just wrapped an Official Visit in Raleigh this weekend. He already took an Official Visit to West Virginia the previous weekend, and had visits scheduled with UNC and Duke, but it looks like they will no longer be necessary.

NC State offered Hauser back on January 22nd, and he also holds offers from Duke, UNC, West Virginia, ECU, Liberty and others.

Hauser plays for Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. This past season, he helped lead Cardinal Newman to their first-ever FHSAA Class 1A state championship in school history.
