NC State Offers Sharpshooting 2027 Forward Ian Condon

NC State extended a scholarship offer to 2027 power forward Ian Condon on Monday as Justin Gainey and his staff continue building relationships in the 2027 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-7, 245-pound forward is one of the top prospects in the Washington, D.C. area and brings a unique combination of size, strength, and perimeter shooting.

Condon is rated as a consensus 3-star prospect.

The talented forward plays for Sidwell Friends School, one of the nation’s premier high school basketball programs.

Junior Season Production

Condon put together an outstanding junior campaign for the Quakers.

2025-26 Statistics

  • 20.4 points per game
  • 8.1 rebounds per game
  • 55% shooting from the field
  • 45% shooting from three-point range

The most eye-opening statistic may be the three-point shooting.

Condon knocked down 45% of his attempts from beyond the arc while taking 158 three-pointers.

That’s elite efficiency and volume for a player carrying a 245-pound frame.

State Recognition

Condon’s strong junior season earned him DCSAA All-State First Team honors, further solidifying his status as one of the top players in the District.

As his senior season approaches, expect additional high-major programs to become involved if they aren’t already.
