It was reported by Ed Werder of ESPN that Rivers’ new contract extension has a no trade clause, which means he is likely to finish his career with the Chargers. There has been little debate over whether Rivers is worthy of such a commitment by the Chargers organization.  Rivers has been an outstanding player and leader, and he has been great for the community. Also, Rivers is scheduled to discuss his new deal around 2:30 ET.

Once again, expect big things from Rivers and look for the Bolts to contend for a division title against the favored Denver Broncos.
