NC State Running Back Jordan Waters has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Rams.

After playing his first five seasons at Duke, Waters transferred to NC State this past year. He started the year as the Wolfpack’s starting Running Back, starting the first seven games. In the end, he lost the starting job to redshirt freshman Hollywood Smothers, who started the final five games for NC State.

Waters was the Wolfpack’s second-leading rusher in 2024, rushing for 470 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He also caught 15 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown.

PFF gave Waters an overall grade of 73.3, which was the fifth-best grade on the Wolfpack offense.

In 2023, he earned Third-Team All-ACC honors as a member of the Blue Devils.

Waters joins three former NC State football players in Los Angeles. Safety Tanner Ingle has been a member of the Rams’ practice squad the past two years. Defensive tackle Larrell Murchison has been in the NFL for five seasons and with the Rams for the past three. Center Dylan McMahon just wrapped up his rookie season in Los Angeles.
