NC State will host ECU tomorrow night for their 2025 season opener at 7 p.m. on ACC Network, marking the 34th meeting between the Wolfpack and Pirates in football.

Here’s a look at NC State’s best all-time individual performances against ECU, in a series that began back in 1970.

In 1978, NC State kicker [Name] made five field goals against the Pirates, a mark that still stands as the most field goals made in a single game in school history.

That same year, Wolfpack running back Vince Evans rushed for 201 yards on 26 carries against ECU — the eighth-most rushing yards by an NC State player in a single game.

On 35 occasions in program history, NC State has had a player rush for 100+ yards in the same game another player recorded 100+ receiving yards. One example came in 2016, when Matt Dayes rushed for 104 yards and Stephen Louis tallied 142 receiving yards against ECU.

The Wolfpack has produced two 100+ yard receivers in the same game only 14 times in school history. One of those performances came against the Pirates in 1999, when Chris Coleman (112 yards) and Koren Robinson (121 yards) both surpassed the century mark.

Former All-American center Garrett Bradbury scored a touchdown in 2018 and remains the last NC State offensive lineman to reach the end zone.

Here’s a look at NC State’s top individual statistical performances against ECU over the past 12 meetings.
