NC State 2025 Football Redshirt Report Heading into UNC

As NC State’s football team heads regular season finale against UNC next Saturday, here’s a look at which True Freshmen have burned their redshirts, playing more than 4 games this season.

4-Star WR Teddy Hoffmann – 11 games
3-Star LB Ke’Von Carter – 11 games
3-Star S Tristan Teasdell – 10 games (3 starts)
3-Star QB Will Wilson – 9 games
4-Star RG Spike Sowells Jr. – 9 games (5 starts)
3-Star NT Josiah Victor – 7 games
3-Star LB LaCorian Hodge – 7 games
3-Star DL Adrian Farrow – 7 games
3-Star CB Caden Gordon – 5 games

Teddy Hoffmann has 27 receptions for 299 yards and 2 touchdowns. He’s also completed 3 of 5 passes for 16 yards (1 interception).
Will Wilson has rushed the ball 27 times for 91 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Tristan Teasell has 17 tackles, 1 interception and 1 pass breakup.
Josiah Victor has 9 tackles.
LaCorian Hodge has 5 tackles.
Ke’Von Carter has 6 tackles.
Adrian Farrow has 2 tackles.
Spike Sowells Jr. has a PFF overall grade of 66.5, which is the 3rd best grade of all the Wolfpack Offensive Lineman.

Two other True Freshmen have seen playing time this season, but currently still have the ability to redshirt.

Junior Linebacker AJ Richardson is lined up to redshirt the season. After playing in the first two games of the season, Richardson hasn’t seen the field again due to injury. He was listed as a Game-Time Decision on the Availability Report prior to the Wolfpack’s game against FSU this past Friday. Even if Richardson is able to play in the regular season finale this week, followed by a bowl game, he will still be able to redshirt the season. Richardson didn’t use his redshirt in his first two seasons at Norfolk St.

JUCO Defensive Lineman AJ Prim also hasn’t played in a game this season, and is eligible to redshirt, after playing in his first two seasons at Pearl River Community College.
