After defeating Virginia Tech 82-73 on Saturday, NC State slid two spots in the latest NET Rankings, checking in at #27 nationally, which still places the Wolfpack 5th in the ACC.

While the movement may look odd following a win, NET fluctuations are often influenced by margin, opponent movement, and broader résumé math across the country. The bigger picture still favors NC State, which continues to build one of the stronger profiles in the league.

What’s Next for NC State

The margin for error is officially gone.

All seven remaining regular-season games fall into either Quad 1 or Quad 2, meaning every game is a résumé opportunity.

Next Week:
• At Louisville tomorrow – Quad 1
• vs. Miami next Saturday (Valentine’s Day) – Quad 2

NC State’s profile is solid, but the upcoming stretch will determine just how high the ceiling goes.
