According to reports, Auburn transfer forward Khady Leye (6’2”) committed to NC State yesterday.

Leye is coming off a strong season at Auburn, where she started all 32 games after transferring from Towson. She averaged 9.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 44% from the field.

She proved to be one of the most reliable players on the roster, becoming one of just two Auburn players to start every game and leading the team in rebounding. Leye reached double figures in scoring 15 times, including two 20-point performances.

Before Auburn, Leye made an immediate impact as a freshman at Towson. Coming off the bench, she still averaged 9.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game while shooting 45.2% from the field.

With this addition, NC State secures its first commitment out of the transfer portal this offseason, and it could be the first domino in what’s shaping up to be an active cycle.
