Brennan Armstrong played injured on Saturday night against UNC, sliding rather than bowling over people, but that didn’t stop him from breaking NC State’s record for most rushing yards in a single season by a Quarterback. Armstrong rushed 9 times for 22 yards, bringing his total on the year to 544 yards rushing.

He only needed 8 yards to break Jacoby Brissett’s record of 529 that he set back in 2014, but 22 worked just fine. Armstrong has one game remaining in a Wolfpack uniform, but in the bowl game, he will only make the record he has already set even harder to break.

1. Brennan Armstrong, 2023 – 544
2. Jacoby Brissett, 2014 – 529
3. Johnny Evans, 1976 – 517
4. Tol Avery, 1980 – 456
5. Scott Smith, 1979 – 451
6. Russell Wilson, 2010 – 435
7. Russell Wilson, 2008 – 388
8. Jacoby Brissett, 2015 – 370
9. Johnny Evans, 1975 – 331
10. Scott Smith, 1978 – 304
