Tennessee transfer outfielder Dalton Bargo has committed to NC State!

Bargo just wrapped up his junior season with the Volunteers, where he played the past two years. This past season, he hit .272 with 14 doubles, 14 home runs, 40 runs, 47 RBIs, and 16 walks. In SEC play, Bargo hit .312.

Bargo is a true utility player, seeing action at both corner outfield spots, both corner infield positions, as well as catcher.

He served as the cleanup hitter for Tennessee throughout the season and was instrumental in helping lead the Vols to a national championship in 2024.

Bargo began his collegiate career at Missouri, playing his freshman season there in 2023.

Coming out of high school, Perfect Game ranked him as the No. 1 catcher in the state of Nebraska in the 2022 class and the No. 2 overall prospect in the state.

Bargo has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

Bargo is the 5th player to transfer to NC State this offseason, joining JMU 3rd Baseman Wyatt Peifer, LSU Infielder Mikey Ryan, Duke Pitcher Collins Black and South Carolina Pitcher Ryder Garino.
