According to a source, Georgetown transfer guard Malik Mack (6’2”, 175 pounds) will take an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Mack brings a track record of consistent production across multiple stops.

He began his career at Harvard, where he delivered a standout freshman season. Mack earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors while averaging 17.2 points, 4.8 assists (which led the conference), 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.

Following that season, he transferred to Georgetown, where he immediately stepped into a starting role. As a sophomore, he averaged 12.9 points, 4.3 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.

This past season, Mack continued his steady production, averaging 13.6 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.0 rebounds as a junior.

At the transfer level, Mack is viewed as one of the more proven guards available. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 83 overall player in the portal and the No. 16 point guard, while Rivals lists him at No. 96 overall and No. 17 at his position.

With his combination of experience, playmaking, and scoring ability, Mack represents a high-floor option as NC State continues to evaluate backcourt additions.

Mack has one year of eligibility remaining.
