NC State defensive end Sabastian Harsh has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Houston Texans.

Harsh made an immediate impact in his lone season in Raleigh after transferring from Wyoming. He finished the year with 41 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 3 passes defended.

His production was backed up by strong analytics. Harsh posted an 86.7 overall PFF grade, which ranked:

  • 2nd on NC State’s defense
  • 4th in the ACC
  • 18th nationally

He proved to be one of the most effective additions out of the transfer portal for the Wolfpack in 2025.

Over the course of his four-year college career, Harsh totaled 138 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 4 passes defended, and 2 fumble recoveries.

Now, he heads to Houston with a chance to carve out a role at the next level as a versatile and productive edge presence.
