Yesterday NC State’s Mark Gottfried, Orlando Early, and Bobby Lutz watched 2016 3-star Tyson Carter of MBA Hoops out in Las Vegas at the Adidas Summer Championships.  The Wolfpack coaches were obviously impressed, because they offered the guard from Mississippi.

The NC State coaches had reason to be impressed with what they saw. Carter has been destroying opponents out in Las Vegas.  Yesterday as they watched, he had performances of 22 points and 27 points.  Through three games in the Adidas Summer Championships Carter is averaging 22.3 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds.  What is most impressive is how well he is shooting the rock. Carter is shooting the ball 53.1% from the field, and an insane 47.2% clip from behind the arc.

Carter also holds offers from Mississippi St., Miami, Memphis, Iowa St., Mississippi, and UNLV.
