On September 1st, contact period began in the world of college football recruiting.  What that means, is that college coaches are allowed to contact a recruit once a week.  Here is a list of who a lot of the NC State football recruiting targets have heard from this week.  These are not all of the Wolfpack prospects, but they are the ones that I have heard from.

2016 OLB – Matt Stevens – NC State, Old Dominion and Charleston Southern.  Stevens holds a Wolfpack offer.

2017 OT Eric Douglas – NC State, Penn St., Clemson, South Carolina, UNC, and Florida.  Douglas holds a Wolfpack offer.

2017 QB Daulton Hyatt – Ole Miss, Mississippi St., Clemson, Wake Forest, Arkansas, Pitt, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Purdue, and Troy.  He said he hasn’t heard from NC State in awhile.

2016 DE Jake Lawler – NC State, UNC, Tennessee, Duke, Clemson, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Pitt and Vanderbilt.

2016 S Joe Jay Smith – Smith has heard from NC State this week.

2016 WR Andrew Parchment – NC State, UNC, Cincinnati, USF, Tulane and Missouri
