Here is the FULL VIDEO of NC State head coach Dave Doeren talking with the media after practice this morning before Saturday’s matchup against South Alabama.

Notes

– OL Garrett Bradbury is back full go this week.

– OL Alex Barr and Bryce Kennedy will both miss the game this weekend.  They should both be back for the Louisville game.

– OL Tyler Jones and Garrett Bradbury will both play at left guard this weekend.  They both had really good weeks.  Joe Thuney could also see some time there as well.

– OL Tyler Jones was obviously disappointed to not get the starting job at left tackle, but Doeren made it clear to him that it really wasn’t about what he didn’t do, and more about what Will Richardson did.  Will is 6’6″, and we like to get height at the Tackle position.

– Doeren talks about South Alabama’s speed and their big chunk plays.  You don’t see them having series after series of success.  It’s one big play here and another big play there.

-South Alabama has 8 UAB players and 4 JUCO transfers in this year alone.  They also have transfers from Alabama, Virginia Tech, and Texas Tech.

– Coach Gottfried will be down visiting his family and will be at the game with the team.

-David Grinnage is full go.  I think you’re going to see as the season goes on that it kind of depends on what we are doing.  There are a lot packages where we have him in there, but we just haven’t gotten to them yet.  There have been a couple of games where he has been wide open and Jacoby just didn’t see him.  His time is going to come, and he knows that.  He had a great attitude about it.
