#20 NC State Women’s Soccer Wins Home Opener Over Monmouth 1-0

The #20 NC State Women’s Soccer team won their 2018 home opener last night, defeating Monmouth 1-0 in Double Overtime, improving to 2-0 on the season.

Junior Krissi Schuster broke the scoreless contest at the 103rd minute mark, and it was a thing of beauty. In fact, it was #3 on SportsCenter’s Top-10 this morning.

NC State had 14 shots, with 6 shots on goal, and Monmouth had 10 shots, with 5 of them being on goal.

The Wolfpack will host ECU on Thursday at 7pm.
