NC State’s Larrell Murchison Makes Outland Trophy Watch List
NC State Redshirt Senior Defensive Tackle Larrell Murchison was named to the 2019 Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List.
The Outland Trophy is awarded to the nations best interior lineman (Offense or Defense), and has been handed out since 1946.
Murchison is 1 of 83 players on the preseason watchlist created by the Football Writers Association of America.
Murchison played his first 2 seasons at Louisburg College before transferring to NC State. He redshirted the 2017 season, before making a splash last year, finishing the year with 8 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. Murchison earned the team award for best defensive lineman and most improved player.
