Russell Wilson Ranked #61 in NFL’s Top 100 Heading into 2022

Published

on

Former NC State Quarterback Russell Wilson, entering his 1st season with the Denver Broncos, is ranked as the #61 player in the annual NFL Top-100 list, which is voted on annually by the NFL  players.

Here’s the summary of Wilson’s ranking:

Wilson’s games started streak of 149 ended last season after the quarterback suffered a finger injury, but his run of 10 straight years as a member of the Top 100 list is still holding strong. Wilson remains as shifty and dangerous under pressure as ever. If he sticks to his current pace, he should top 40,000 career passing yards and 300 passing touchdowns in his first season with Denver, all be before he surpasses 100 career interceptions. (NFL)

This is a significant drop for Wilson, who was ranked 12th heading into 2021, and 2nd heading into 2020.

Former NC State All-American Nyheim Hines has signed a 1-year deal with the Cleveland Browns worth up to $3.5 million.

Maybe Cleveland will use Hines to his full potential. If you’re not using him as a Swiss Army Knife in the passing game, you’re wasting an opportunity.

The former All-ACC Running Back Hines missed all of last season due to a torn ACL he suffered in a boating accident.

This will be Hines’ 7th season in the NFL.

When you look at what former NC State players have done in the NFL, Hines ranks in the Top-10 in Rushing and Receiving.
