NC State wasn’t ranked in the Preseason AP Poll last year, but finished the year ranked 21st. This marks the 2nd time the Wolfpack have been ranked in the Preseason AP Poll under Doeren, doing it in 2022 as well (13th).
Dave Doeren is tied with legendary coach Lou Holtz, making them the only two head coaches in NC State history to have 3 teams finish ranked in the Final AP Poll.
The Wolfpack have finished ranked in the Final AP Poll 15 times.
