Savage Wolves, NC State’s Football NIL Branch (as a part of 1Pack), announced this morning that Redshirt Junior Linebacker Sean Brown has re-signed with them for the 2025 season, his final year of eligibility

Brown leads NC State in tackles this season (87), and he ranks 3rd in sacks (3), 3rd (tie) in tackles for loss (8) 2nd (tie) in forced fumbles (2) and 1st in fumble recoveries (3).

In his first 3 seasons in Raleigh, Brown played Safety, but moved to Linebacker this offseason to fill the big shoes at WILL Linebacker, that Payton Wilson filled in 2023.

Brown is an essential leader on NC State’s football team, serving as 1 of the 4 team captains. He’s the only captain who isn’t a Senior.

I honestly expect to see Brown to take a big step forward in 2025, and I’m glad that will be as a member of the Wolfpack. This season was his first year of playing Linebacker. In year 2 at the position, I expect Brown to play faster and more efficiently.

Brown is the 3rd player to re-sign with Savage Wolves, joining QB CJ Bailey and RB Hollywood Smothers.
