#14 NC State might be ahead in the standings, but #10 Duke is ranked higher and will be the favorite tonight when they take the court in Raleigh.

NC State is 12-0 at home this year, so there is going to be quite the collision tonight when these two teams meet.

NC State is going to look for Aziaha James to rebound after a subpar performance vs. Wake (7pts). James is averaging 16.9 points per game, 3 assists and almost 5 rebounds on the season and prior to the Wake game she had gone for 20+ in 4 of the previous 6 games.

Meanwhile, Zoe Brooks continues to fill the stat sheet. She went for 18 points, dished out 5 assist,s and grabbed 4 boards in the win.

For Duke, NC State will have to deal with their balanced attack. Toby Fournier and Ashlon Jackson are both averaging 12 pppg, while Reigan Richardson is averaging 11. They are shooting 35% from long range.

NC State boasts the 4the highest-scoring offense per game at 76 points, while Duke is right behind them at #5, averaging 75.8 ppg.

Defensively is where Duke makes their money. They are allowing only 58 points per game, which is 2nd best in the ACC. Meanwhile the Pack is 6th, giving up 63ppg.

Neither  team is lighting the world on fire from 3, but the rebounding split is interesting.  NC State is 3rd in the ACC in team rebounds, however, Duke is leading the league in least about of rebounds allowed per game.

Like we said, something has to give.

Tune it tonight at 7pm on ESPN2.
