NC State Guard Dennis Parker Jr. (6’6″/205) is entering the Transfer Portal after seeing reduced playing time in his second year at Raleigh.

During his freshman year, he averaged 15.4 minutes, 4.7 points, and 3.2 rebounds across 29 games, starting 12 of them. This year, his averages dropped to 12.3 minutes, 2.9 points, and 2.3 rebounds in 27 games, without any starts.

The standout basketball prospect from Richmond, Virginia, was a consensus 4-star player in NC State’s 2023 recruiting class and was the only high school player enrolled that year.

Parker Jr. has two years of eligibility remaining.

As of yesterday, Parker Jr. is the third NC State player to enter the Transfer Portal this season, joining forward Ben Middlebrooks and guard Mike James.
