Wyoming EDGE Sabastian Harsh (6’3″/251) is transferring to NC State for his final year of eligibility.

Harsh started his career at Laramie as a walk-on and did not see the field in 2020 (which didn’t count toward eligibility due to the Covid-19 year). After a solid spring heading into Year 2, he was awarded a scholarship. In 2021, Harsh played in 13 games on special teams. In his third year at Wyoming, Harsh missed the entire season due to injury. After not seeing the field in two of his first three seasons and not playing from the line of scrimmage at all during that span, Harsh finally carved out a role in 2023, starting in 7 of 12 games, tallying 50 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. Harsh led the team in tackles for loss and earned 3rd Team All-Mountain West honors from Phil Steele.

This past season, Harsh solidified himself as a starter for the Cowboys but missed 4 games due to injury. He finished with 40 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Harsh ranked second on the team in tackles for loss, despite missing 4 games, and earned All-Mountain West Honorable Mention honors.

ON3 ranks Harsh as the #29 EDGE in the Transfer Portal.
