3-Star Offensive Tackle Buddy Wegdam is Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

3-star Offensive Tackle Buddy Wegdam (6’6″/280) is taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Wegdam took an official visit to Virginia Tech at the beginning of the month.

NC State offered him on February 1. He also holds offers from Virginia Tech, Duke, Michigan State, UConn, Liberty, Marshall, Utah State, and others.

247Sports ranks Wegdam as the No. 38 overall player in the state of Virginia in the 2026 recruiting class.

He earned Second Team VISAA All-State honors this past fall.

Wegdam plays for Woodberry Forest School (Woodberry Forest, VA).
