Former NC State All-ACC Offensive Tackle Anthony Belton and the Green Bay Packers have finally come to an agreement after the Packers drafted him in the 2nd round of the 2025 NFL Draft back in April with the 54th overall pick.

Belton’s four-year contract is worth $8.016 million, including a $2.47 million signing bonus. The reason it took so long for the two parties to reach an agreement is that he was negotiating for a higher percentage of guaranteed money. Belton’s patience paid off—72.95% of his contract is guaranteed, up from 61.95% for last year’s 54th overall pick.

Taken 54th overall, Belton is the 27th highest-drafted player in NC State history.

He played his first two years in the JUCO ranks at Georgia Military College. In 2021, Belton enrolled at NC State and redshirted his first season. In 2022, he started 8 of 13 games, replacing first-round draft pick Ikem Ekwonu. Belton started every game at left tackle for the Wolfpack over the past two years, earning 3rd Team All-ACC honors in 2023.

Despite not earning All-ACC honors in his final season, he posted his best PFF grade of 73.3 (10th in the ACC). His run-blocking grade of 86.5 ranked 12th among all tackles in college football.
