NC State Football posted their top performers from their 2025 Summer Workout program recently. Here’s the rundown:

Bench Press

3. Redshirt Senior Offensive Lineman Jalen Grant – 410
4. Senior Defensive Tackle Brandon Cleveland – 405

40-Yard Dash

1. Senior Wide Receiver Wesley Grimes – 4.24
2. Redshirt Freshman Running Back Duke Scott – 4.35
3. Redshirt Freshman Wide Receiver Jonathan Paylor – 4.39

For perspective, the fastest 40-yard dash time at the 2025 NFL Combine was a 4.28, ran by Kentucky Cornerback Maxwell Hairston. Only 5 players in the history of the NFL Combine have run a 40-yard dash of 4.24 or faster.

ON3’s Noah Fleischman also reported that Redshirt Sophomore Cornerback Brian Nelson II and Redshirt Junior Cornerback Jackson Vick both ran 4.41’s.
