After defeating Syracuse 88-68 on Tuesday night inside the Lenovo Center, NC State remained steady at No. 27 in the latest NET Rankings, good for 5th in the ACC.

The win over the Orange was classified as a Quad 3 game, making it a must-have result for the Wolfpack. NC State took care of business, keeping its résumé clean while continuing to build momentum as conference play ramps up.

With the Syracuse victory in hand, every remaining game on NC State’s schedule falls into either Quad 1 or Quad 2 territory, meaning opportunities for résumé-boosting wins are plentiful from here on out.

What’s Next for NC State

The Wolfpack’s next two games will both be Quad 1 opportunities:

  • Saturday: at Wake Forest (NET #66)
  • Tuesday: at SMU (NET #32)
