NC State Climbs in AP Poll – Still Waiting on the Top 25

After picking up wins over SMU and Virginia Tech last week, NC State remains just outside the AP Top-25 – but the Wolfpack are moving in the right direction. NC State jumped four spots to No. 28 in this week’s poll after being stuck at No. 32 for the previous two weeks. While the Pack is still looking up at the Top-25, momentum is clearly building, and tonight’s matchup at Louisville could be the final nudge needed to break back in.

Previously in the Top-25

After not being ranked in the Preseason AP Poll, NC State jumped into the poll in Week 3, landing at #25. The following week, the Wolfpack moved up 2 spots to 23rd, but fell out the following week, and have yet to return.

If NC State can pull off the upset this evening in Louisville against #24, they will be on their to way to a Top-25 ranking next week.
