Copeland’s All-ACC Resume
To be honest, I don’t think Will Wade originally planned for Copeland to be his starting point guard this season. The expectation seemed to be that Senior Tre Holloman would start at the position.
Nonetheless, Copeland established himself as PG1 during the offseason and was a starter for the Wolfpack from the beginning of the 2025-26 season.
No one had Q earning All-ACC honors on their bingo card. He didn’t even earn All-Conference honors in the Southland Conference last year at McNeese State.
But Copeland bet on himself, and had a career year.
His 205 assists led the ACC, and his 6.6 assists per game average was tied for the conference lead with SMU’s Boopie Miller.
Copeland also averaged:
- 13.7 points
- 3.5 rebounds
- 1.8 steals
His steals average ranked 6th in the ACC.
He shot an efficient 49.6% from the field and 40.4% from three-point range.
Overall, Copeland posted career highs in every statistic listed above except rebounds.
It was a historic season for Q. He became one of just three players in the ACC over the last 30 years to record 400+ points and 200+ assists in a single season.
