Former NC State All-American Bradley Chubb Signs 3-Year Deal with Bills

Former NC State Unanimous 1st Team All-American Bradley Chubb has signed a 3-year $43.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, that could be worth up to $52.5 million. $29 million of the contract is guaranteed.

Chubb will turn 30 before the start of the 2026 season, but the Outside Linebacker is still producing at a high level. This past season, Chubb finished with 47 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 8 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles and 1 forced fumble.

Still Producing at a High Level

Despite missing the entire 2024 season due to a torn ACL, Chubb was extremely productive in his last two healthy seasons.

In 2023 and 2025 combined, he played in 33 games and totaled:

• 120 tackles
• 19.5 sacks
• 19 tackles for loss
• 42 QB hits
• 8 forced fumbles

Chubb is a two-time Pro Bowler, and quite frankly, his on-field production during those two seasons arguably exceeded his Pro Bowl campaigns.

He will be 30 years old when the 2026 season kicks off, but his recent production suggests he still has plenty left in the tank. An elite pass rusher with proven postseason and Pro Bowl credentials doesn’t stay on the market long.

Through seven seasons on the field, Chubb has compiled:

• 303 tackles
• 48 sacks
• 53 tackles for loss
• 112 QB hits
• 15 forced fumbles

His 48 career sacks rank second among former NC State defenders, trailing only Mario Williams, who finished with 97.5 career sacks.

A Dominant Career in Raleigh

Chubb’s legacy at NC State is cemented. His #9 is honored in Carter-Finley Stadium, and he’s been inducted into the NC State Hall of Fame.

In 2017, he was a unanimous First-Team All-American and earned ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors. He also took home the Ted Hendricks Award and the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, recognizing him as the nation’s top defensive player.

From Raleigh to the NFL, Chubb has consistently produced at an elite level.
