3-star 2027 defensive lineman Jaden Wuerth (6’2”, 260 pounds) has scheduled an official visit to NC State from May 8–10.

Wuerth also has an official visit lined up with Virginia Tech as his recruitment continues to gain momentum.

NC State extended an offer to Wuerth on September 28 of last fall. His offer list also includes Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Miami, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Duke, Maryland, Penn State, Northwestern, and others.

Both Rivals and 247Sports rate Wuerth as a 3-star prospect. Rivals currently ranks him as the No. 10 overall player in the state of South Carolina in the 2027 class.

Wuerth is no stranger to Raleigh. He took three unofficial visits to NC State last year, including attending the Wolfpack’s game against Virginia Tech.

On the field, Wuerth was highly productive this past season for Dutch Fork High School. He recorded 62 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, and three forced fumbles…disruptive production that continues to draw attention from major programs.
