According to Sam Kayser, NC State has shown interest in Quinnipiac transfer forward Grant Randall (6’9”, 195 pounds).

Kayser also reports that Randall is drawing interest from BYU, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Clemson, VCU, Dayton, Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington, and Toledo.

Randall is coming off a strong sophomore season at Quinnipiac, where he averaged 11.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 45.7% from the field and 32.3% from three-point range.

He made a significant jump from his freshman year, when he averaged just 1.9 points in 9.9 minutes per game and started only one of 32 games. This past season, Randall started 31 of 32 games and averaged 31.6 minutes per contest, which was a major leap in both role and production.

According to Kayser, Randall is scheduled to visit Cincinnati and George Mason this week.

Before his time at Quinnipiac, Randall played his high school basketball at Putnam Science Academy.
