4-star 2027 offensive tackle Junior Saunders (6’6”, 290 pounds) has scheduled an official visit to NC State for May 8–10.

Saunders also has official visits lined up with Virginia, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.

From a rankings standpoint, Saunders is one of the more highly regarded offensive linemen in the 2027 class. Both 247Sports and ESPN rate him as a 4-star prospect. ESPN ranks him as the No. 203 overall player nationally, the No. 18 offensive tackle, and the No. 3 player in the state of Virginia.

NC State has been involved early in his recruitment. The Wolfpack became the first program to offer Saunders back on June 9, 2023 — a position that often matters as recruitments develop over time.

Since then, his offer list has grown significantly, including South Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, UNC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Florida, Florida State, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Auburn, and others.

Saunders plays at Woodberry Forest High School in Virginia.
