3-Star Cornerback Akedran Crumel is Taking an Official Visit to NC State Tomorrow

2027 cornerback Akedran Crumel (6’2”, 175 pounds) confirmed that he will be taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Crumel has a busy visit schedule, with additional official visits lined up to Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and James Madison.

NC State has been involved in his recruitment for quite some time, extending an offer on May 16, 2024.

He also holds offers from Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, SMU, Duke, Maryland, USC, Ohio State, Kentucky, Miami, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Louisville, Ole Miss, Florida State, Indiana, Mississippi State, Michigan State, UNC, Boston College, Wake Forest, Arkansas, and others.

On the field, Crumel has shown strong playmaking ability in the secondary. This past season, he recorded 39 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups as a junior at Clayton High School.

Crumel is a consensus 3-star prospect, with Rivals ranking him as the #17 player in the state of North Carolina.

With his size, length, and ball production, NC State will look to make a strong impression as it continues to build momentum in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
