NC State Guard Alyn Breed Transferring to UNLV

NC State Guard Alyn Breed is transferring to UNLV.

The Runnin Rebels add another player from the transfer portal in Alyn Breed.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard spent time at Providence and McNeese State before last season at N.C. State.

NC State Guard Alyn Breed is transferring to UNLV.

Breed followed former head coach Will Wade to Raleigh this past offseason after playing at McNeese St.

Next season would mark Breed’s seventh year of college basketball. As Wade noted during the season, there was hope that Breed could be granted an additional medical redshirt after appearing in just two games the previous year due to a torn ACL, and it appears it was granted.

This season, Breed appeared in 21 games for the Wolfpack, making seven starts. He averaged 4.5 points in 14.9 minutes per game.

At this point, Jayme Kontuniemi is the only NC State player to enter the Portal to not find a new school yet.
