Oregon transfer linebacker Kamar Mothudi (6’3″/244) is taking an official visit to NC State this weekend, according to reports.

Mothudi played in five games this season as a redshirt freshman for the Ducks, with one appearance coming exclusively on special teams. He finished the year with four tackles across 24 defensive snaps.

Coming out of high school, Mothudi was a consensus four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports all rated him as a four-star recruit. ESPN ranked him as the No. 147 overall player nationally and the No. 4 inside linebacker, while 247Sports listed him as the No. 13 player in the state of California.

Mothudi is currently ranked as the No. 45 linebacker in the Transfer Portal by ON3.

NC State continues to explore options at linebacker as the Wolfpack looks to bolster depth and competition heading into the 2026 season.
