3-Star 2016 Wide Receiver Tyree Rodgers (Camden, NJ) is looking for some very specific things in a school, and we caught up with him and he shared those with us.

“I’m looking for an offense I can fit in,” said Rodgers. “A shotgun Chip Kelly kind of offense. It’s the style Old Dominion and NC State run. I’m looking for a place that throws the ball.”

This past Saturday Rodgers (6’1″/192) camped at NC State and got in a good workout with Coach McDonald. He said and He started recruiting him back in March.

“I’ve visited NC State twice and I liked it,” said Rodgers. “They have told me that I could possibly see early playing time.”

Rodgers at this point in his recruitment process has three leaders out in front.

“NC State, Old Dominion, and Temple are my leaders right now, and they are all equal.” said Rodgers.

Rodgers plans on camping at NC State again on July 24th, and then at the Temple the following day. He hopes to decide what school he will play college football at by the first or second week in September.
