Pool play continued this morning in the Adidas Nations event out in Los Angeles.  Earlier this morning I broke down how some of the NC State targets did in Game 1 last night.  Here is how they did this morning in Game 2 of pool play.

Dennis Smith Jr. went bonkers in Team Wall’s 92-82 defeat of Team Africa, with a line of 26 points (10-19 FG), 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

Edrice “Bam” Adebayo posted a double-double in USA 2016 Team Rose’s 97-88 victory over Team Asia Pacific.  He scored 21 points (10-14 FG) and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Sacha Killeya-Jones had 13 points (6-13 FG) and 5 rebounds in Team Nations’ 77-110 victory loss to USA 2017 Team Lillard.

Xavier Tillman played big in USA 2017 Team Lillard’s 110-77 win overTeam Nations, scoring 12 points (6-11 FG) and grabbing 11 rebounds.  Trevon Duvall had 10 points (5-6 FG) and 6 assists.

Today’s Schedule

Sacha Killeya Jones’ Team Nations will play Team Latin America in Game 2 at 7:30 PM (PST)

Trevon Duvall & Xavier Tillman’s Team Lillard will play Team Asia Pacific in Game 2 at 7:30 PM (PST)

Dennis Smith Jr.’s Team Wall will play Team Canada in Game 2 at 7:30 PM (PST)

NC State’s Cat Barber and Malik Abu are serving as two of the camp counselors at Adidas Nations. I’m sure the high school recruits appreciate it, and I’m also sure it can’t hurt NC State’s recruiting presence with many of these players.
