The 3rd ranked Clemson Tigers head into Saturday’s match-up with the Pack riding a 35 game win streak versus teams not ranked in the AP top 25. Can you guess the last time the Tigers lost such a game? That’s right, it was in 2011 versus NC State on Homecoming. On that day NC State exploded for 27 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter. QB Mike Glennon threw for 3 Touchdowns on the day, as the Wolfpack trampled the 7th ranked Clemson Tigers. Not only did the offense put up 37 points, but the defense forced 4 turnovers and recorded 6 sacks on the day!

NC State will need a similar effort by the defense as they must find a way to stop Deshaun Watson and a Clemson attack that is averaging 38 points per game.
