Here is an update of how the former NC State football players did in Week 8 of the NFL.

QB Philip Rivers was 28 of 37 for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Chargers 29-26 loss to the Ravens.  This was easily Rivers’ most efficient game of 2015, posting a QB rating of 126.1.

Season Stats: 2,753 yards, 69.8%, 18 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 102.1 QB rating

CB David Amerson led the Raiders with 7 tackles in their 34-20 victory over the Jets.  He also had two pass breakups.

Season Stats: 30 tackles, 6 pass breakups and 1 forced fumble

QB Russell Wilson was 19 of 30 for 210 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Seattle’s 13-12 victory over Dallas.  His QB rating was 81.3.  He also rushed 6 times for 32 yards.

Season Stats: 1,878 yards, 68.6%, 9 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 98.0 QB rating, 303 rushing yards, 5.2 yards per carry

Nate Irving didn’t play in the Colts 29-26 loss to the Panthers last night.  He was listed as inactive.

Season Stats: 8 tackles

Jerricho Cotchery had 2 receptions for 18 yards in the Panthers 29-26 victory over the Colts last night.

Season Stats: 10 receptions, 108 yards, 1 touchdown

Stephen Tulloch led the Lions with 7 tackles and 2 tackles for loss in their 45-10 loss to the Chiefs in London on Sunday.

Season Stats: 63 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries

Mike Glennon didn’t play in the Bucs 23-20 victory over the Falcons.

Ted Larsen missed his 5th straight game after starting the first three games of the season for the Cardinals.  Arizona defeated the Browns 34-20.

Dontae Johnson had one tackle in the 49ers 27-6 loss to the Rams.

Season Stats: 9 tackles and 2 pass breakups

Markus Kuhn started his third straight game for the Giants, but failed to record any stats in their 52-49 loss to the Saints.

Season Stats: 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 0.5 sacks

Audie Cole was inactive in the Vikings 23-20 victory over the Bears.  He has a finger injury.

Season Stats: 1 tackle

Willie Young had 1 tackle in the Bears 23-20 loss to the Vikings.

Season Stats: 4 tackles and 1 sack

J.R. Sweezy started for the Seahawks in their 13-12 victory over the Cowboys.

Steven Hauschka connected on 2 of his 3 field goal attempts in the Seahawks 13-12 victory over the Cowboys.  His 47-yard field goal that was blocked was his first miss of the season.  Hauschka kicked a 24-yard field goal with a minute left in the game to give Seattle the lead.

Season Stats: 18/19 FG, 15/15 PAT, 69 points

T.Y. McGill played as a reserve in the Colts 29-26 loss to the Panthers last night, but didn’t record any stats.

Season Stats: 2 tackles
