4-Star 2019 SF Marcus Watson Talks NC State

4-Star 2019 Small Forward Marcus Watson (6’6”/188) talked to Rivals’ Corey Evans about his recruitment, and he had some words to say about NC State’s recruitment of him.

NC State: “I think coach (Kevin) Keatts has something big planned over there. The new recruits they have coming in is because of him but he just tells me that they have big men coming in like Ian Steere and I know it is going to be going to be great; he is going to turn it around.” (Rivals)

Watson also talked up Oregon, Georgia, Missouri, and Oklahoma St.

Watson took an unofficial visit to NC State on the last weekend of September, and took in the Syracuse game with a few of his talented Georgia Stars teammates.

NC State still hasn’t offered Watson, but there is definite strong interest on their part. At minimum, they have made quite an impression on him.
