4-star NC State commit, Jericole Hellems, got it going late and nearly led his Chaminade team to a victory over Iowa State commit Talen-Horton-Tucker’s Simeon team, in the Chicago Elite Classic. Here are the game highlights (above).

Hellems burst onto the scene this summer during Peach Jam and got the attention of a lot of big-time coaches, one of which was NC State’s Kevin Keatts. He fits NC State’s system well with a great motor, a nice jumper and the ability to defend multiple positions. We did a detailed breakdown of his game last month, so check that out as well.
