VIDEO: Early Enrolees Question of the Week: Why NC State?

Around this time of year, the NC State football Twitter account helps the fans get to know the early enrolees (Freshman who arrive in January versus June). Yesterday they asked the the early enrolees why they chose NC State.

LB Drake Thomas – Family ties…brother (Thayer) was here. Developed really good relationships with a lot of the coaches and kids that were already on the team. Family feeling.

Nickel Jalen Frazier – Family based. Coaches built great relationships with my family.

QB Ty Evans – Always had a good relationship with the coaches here. Had 1 weekend…2 weekends at the most. Took my official here and really felt I gelled with the guys.

WR Keyon Lesane – When I 1st got here I fell in love with Raleigh. I didn’t want to go to far from my mama. I’m a mama’s boy.

RB Zonovan Knight – Closest to home. Felt I could come in and make an early impact and play early.

OG Zovon Lindsay – Family atmosphere. Also close to home. I only live an hour away. They put people in the NFL, and that’s what I want to do with my life.

QB Jamie Shaw – Family would go to games as kids. There’s just something about the atmosphere. Hard to describe.
