5 NC State Football Commits Make the 2025 Shrine Bowl

Five 2026 NC State football recruiting verbal commits have been selected to play in the 2025 Shrine Bowl, which is the annual all-star game between North Carolina and South Carolina.

North Carolina

3-Star Quarterback Jacob Smith (Reagan/Pfafftown) – #57 overall player in the state according to ESPN, and the #7 QB.

3-Star Athlete Aiden Smalls (Clayton/Clayton) – #33 overall player in the state according to Rivals, and the #1 ATH.

3-Star Safety D’Various Surratt (Crest/Shelby) – #27 overall player in the state according to 247Sports, #1 SAF.

South Carolina

4-Star Cornerback Jordyn Best (Ridge View/Columbia) – #8 overall player in the state according to ESPN, and the #1 CB.

3-Star Offensive Lineman Tre Aiken (Clinton/Clinton) – #21 overall player in the state according to Rivals, and the #3 IOL.

The 89th annual Shrine Bowl will be played on December 20th in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
