NC State Final Four Legend DJ Burns Signs with the Greensboro Swarm to Play in the G-League

NC State Final Four Legend DJ Burns has signed with the Greensboro Swarm to play in the G-League.

Burns spent his first professional season playing for the Goyang Sono in Korea. In 2024-25, Burns averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the Skyrunners, shooting 51.8% from the field.

Burns spent two years at NC State, leading the Wolfpack to their first ACC Men’s Basketball Championship since 1987 and their first Final Four appearance since 1983. He was named 2024 ACC Tournament MVP and Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA South Region.

DJ averaged 12.7 points per game while shooting 54.4% during his two seasons in Raleigh.

The Swarm’s season will get started on November 7th against the Maine Celtics.
